SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State guard Heaven Hamling was selected as this week’s TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week, League officials released Monday. The Bison senior averaged a team-high 25.0 ppg on 62 percent shooting from the floor and 50 percent from behind the arc to help the Bison to a pair of victories.
 
After being down 62-60 to enter the final quarter against Kansas City, Hamling put together a 10-point, fourth-quarter performance to propel the Bison to an 86-75 victory. The Grand Rapids, Minn., finished the game with a team-best 21 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field, including a 5-for-8 effort from behind the arc. She also added a game-high five assists, a steal and a rebound in the win.
 
In a 103-86 win over Oral Roberts, Hamling paced the offensive effort with her 10^th 20-plus point performance this season. The senior dropped a game-best 28 points on 10-for-17 shooting. She also dished out six assists and pulled down five rebounds against the Golden Eagles.
 
Hamling finished the pair of games averaging 25.0 ppg, 5.5 apg, 2.0 spg and 1.5 rpg.
