SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After the first week of league competition, it’s Omaha who leads the standings with four points to their ledger. The Mavericks, who compiled a 1-0-1 record last week, are led by Sophia Green’s eight goals, including a goal in a pair of matches last week.
Denver and South Dakota State both won their respective matches and had the highest winning percentages during the non-conference slate. South Dakota is tied with the Pioneers and Jackrabbits for second in the standings with three points.
Kansas City and North Dakota State have two points and are tied for fifth in the standings. North Dakota’s lone match last week against the Roos resulted in a tie and earned a point in the standings.
