UND’s Loeffler, Livingston sweep TicketSmarter #SummitWSOC weekly accolades

North Dakota’s Loeffler, Livingston receive weekly accolades

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota’s Amelia Loeffler and Madi Livingston swept the latest TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Soccer Peak Performers of the Week. Loeffler received the offensive honor, while Livingston collected the defensive award, league officials announced on Tuesday.

Loeffler led the Fighting Hawks to a pair of victories where she struck for a trio of goals and added an assist. The sophomore defender posted the first two goals in a 3-0 triumph over Illinois State as her first goal came in the 36th minute followed by her second goal coming in the 50th minute of play. Not only did Loeffler tally her first multi-goal game of her career, but she also became the first Fighting Hawk to register a pair of goals in a match since Hannah Olson did so on Oct. 31, 2021 against former league member Western Illinois.

The Claremont, Calif., native assisted on the opening goal against Southern Indiana and polished off the 2-0 victory with a goal in the final minute of regulation. She finished the weekend with seven points and helped UND start the season 2-0-0 on the road for only the second time since moving to Division I in 2008 (2018).

Livingston had a perfect weekend in net to help the Fighting Hawks grab road wins against the Redbirds and Screaming Eagles. The Centennial, Colo., native stopped a total of 12 shots, six in each match. She did not allow a goal on the weekend and has shutouts in three of her last four matches.

Additionally, Livingston moves into a tie for the program record for career clean sheets with 14.
