SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Kansas City forward Elie Kisoka and goalkeeper Brandon McGaugh collected the latest Summit League Men’s Soccer Peak Performer of the Week awards, league officials announced Monday. The offensive honor is a league-high third of the season for Kisoka, while McGaugh garnered his first career defensive weekly honor.

Kisoka and McGaugh both played integral parts in Kansas City’s 1-0 upset of league-leading and No. 3/1 Denver Saturday night. It marked the first win over a ranked opponent for the Roos since 2008.

Kisoka’s 14^th-minute goal was his fourth game-winner of the season, moving him to a share of the Division I lead with eight other players. The Marseilles, France native also shares the Summit League lead with eight total goals and 20 points in his first DI season.
