SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota, South Dakota State and Omaha each won both of their matches last week, while North Dakota State and Kansas City also opened league play with a win in their only action. The Jackrabbits are 13-0 and lead the league in opponent hitting percentage (.149), hitting percentage (.249) and total blocks (146). The Coyotes top the league charts in assists per set (12.78) and total kills (691). The Mavericks lead the league in opponent kills per set (11.98).
North Dakota, Denver, St. Thomas and Oral Roberts all went 0-2 last week. Oral Roberts will look to bounce back after losing their previous four matches, including two non-conference matches. The Tommies hit the road on Thursday for a battle with South Dakota before returning home to host Kansas City on Saturday.
Both North Dakota and Denver will play matches on Thursday and Saturday. On Thursday, the Pioneers head to Fargo for a match with North Dakota State while North Dakota hosts Oral Roberts. The two squads will then serve it up in Grand Forks on Saturday.

• North Dakota graduate senior Elizabeth Norris led the Fighting Hawks with 22 assists and 11 digs in a losing effort to Kansas City.
• The Roos got 18 kills from Kaia Dunford as they opened league play with a victory. Sydney Henry added 36 assists in the four-set win.
• Denver graduate senior Cassie Davis accumulated 19 kills in a 3-1 loss to South Dakota State.
• Omaha’s McKenna Ruch opened Summit League play with 22 kills and nine total blocks to help the Mavericks go 2-0 on the weekend.
• Oral Roberts outside hitters Trinity Freeman and Ainzley Rinard combined for 42 kills in a 3-2 loss to South Dakota State.
