This week, the Jackrabbits hit the road, first facing off against the Mavericks in Omaha, followed by a matchup against the Roos in Kansas City on Saturday. The Mavericks (11-10, 9-1 SL) are hot on their heels in second place, riding a six-game winning streak in league play.
Meanwhile, South Dakota (15-6, 7-3 SL) occupies third place. After a tough five-set loss to South Dakota State, the Coyotes rebounded strongly with four-set victories over Kansas City and Denver.

• Kansas City’s Kaia Dunford notched her 12th-consecutive match with double-digit kills in Saturday’s 3-1 loss to South Dakota. Dunford is tied for the league lead with 155 total kills in Summit play.
• North Dakota junior Izzie McCormick led the fighting hawks with 13 digs in a loss to St. Thomas. The two teams combined for 110 digs in a three-set match.
