ORU’s Udoumoh named latest #SummitWBB peak performer

Oral Roberts’ Udoumoh dominated on both ends of the floor en route to weekly accolade

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts’ Ruthie Udoumoh had herself a week on both ends of the floor to earn the latest Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week award, League officials released Monday. Udoumoh paced the Golden Eagles in their two wins this past week, averaging 16.5 ppg, 15.0 rpg, 2.5 spg and a 52.0 shooting percentage from the field.
 
In Oral Roberts’ 65-58 win over UTRGV, Udoumoh recorded her first double-double of the season. She was 6-for-10 from the floor good for 14 points and pulled down 14 boards to go along with three steals.
 
In the road victory over Tulsa (67-56), Udoumoh picked up season-highs in both points and rebounds. She was 7-for-15 from the floor en route to 19 points and pulled down 16 boards, 10 of which were offensive. Her performance in the paint helped lead ORU to back-to-back Mayor’s Cup wins.
