SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The winning streaks are starting to pile up for Summit men's basketball squads with Christmas break on the horizon and conference play looming after the New Year.

Kansas City is the latest to try and put together a decent stretch as owners of back-to-back wins for just the second time this season. The Roos do have a tough road test at Wichita State Tuesday but wins at Portland and a home win over Bowling Green have provided a momentum jolt to the league's preseason favorite.

North Dakota State owns the current longest streak with seven straight wins, while St. Thomas is not far behind. The Tommies have ripped off five conescutive victories as both of those squads have a win over Western Michigan to their credit during those stretches.

South Dakota takes a multiple-win streak into a two-game road swing out west. The Coyotes will look to carry the momentum from home wins over Wyoming and Western Illinois into road matchups at Utah Tech and Santa Clara.
