UST’s Scalia earns first career #SummitWBB weekly honor

Tommies’ Scalia named the latest women’s basketball peak performer of the week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – St. Thomas junior guard Amber Scalia helped the Tommies to an 81-65 win over Eastern Michigan to close out the nonconference slate and claim the final Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor of 2024.
 
The Stillwater, Minn., native scored a team-best 21 points on 7-for-13 shooting, including a 2-for-4 clip from the three-point line and a perfect 5-for-5 from the charity stripe. She also added a pair of assists, two steals and a rebound to her stat line against the Eagles.
