North Dakota State’s Frost earns #SummitWBB weekly recognition

After helping NDSU to a 2-0 record in the Big Sky-Summit Challenge, Frost names weekly award winner

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State freshman Marisa Frost averaged a team-high 20.0 ppg on 75.0 percent shooting from the floor and 71.4 percent from the three-point line to help the Bison to a 2-0 record in the Big Sky-Summit Challenge. For her efforts, the NDSU guard earned the latest Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week accolade.
 
In an 83-74 win over Montana, the freshman guard dropped a season-best 27 points on 7-for-8 shooting from the field. In addition to her 27 points, she packed her stat line with three assists, one steal and one defensive rebound.
 
In the Bison’s 74-47 victory against Eastern Washington, Frost came off the bench and went 5-for-8 from the floor good for 13 points. She also recorded five rebounds and three assists to close the Big Sky-Summit Challenge week for the Bison.
