SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Jackrabbit sophomore Brooklyn Meyer garnered her third TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor, League officials announced Monday. The Larchwood, Iowa, native averaged 23.5 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.5 apg and 2.0 spg to lead SDSU to a pair of 20-plus point victories last week.
 
In the Jackrabbits’ 74-53 win over Kansas City, Meyer was 9-for-13 from the floor and 7-for-11 from the free throw line en route to a game-best 25 points. She also pulled down seven rebounds, blocked a team-high three shots and stole the ball once against the Roos.
 
Against Omaha, she tallied 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the field and 6-for-8 from the charity stripe. Meyer also added eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and a pair of blocks to her stat line against the Mavericks.
 
After her performances last week, Meyer is within one block of matching SDSU’s single-season sophomore block record. She is also one of seven players in the country averaging 17.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 1.9 bpg in League play.
