#SummitWSOC Weekly Notebook: No. 7

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Summit League women's soccer programs came up victorious with four wins during the last week of non-conference play. Kansas City, North Dakota State, Oral Roberts and South Dakota State each closed out their non-conference play with victories. The Jackrabbits paced all Summit League teams with seven wins heading into league play. The Roos, Mavericks and Pioneers each had six.

South Dakota State heads into league play with a 7-2-1 record after their 2-1 win over USC Upstate, outshooting the Spartans 14-7.

• KC true freshman Adriana Benassi secured her second brace of non-conference play in a 4-1 win over Northern Colorado. Benassi is the first Roo to have two multi-goal games in a season since 2018.
• The Roos wrapped up non-conference play having not allowed an opponent to score more than once in a game, which is a program best since 2019.
• Jackrabbit senior Avery LeBlanc scored her second game-winner of the season in the 65th minute.
• SDSU's win over the Spartans was head coach Brock Thompson' 100th leading the Jackrabbits.
• The Bison showed out for their senior night, posting a 5-0 victory over St. Ambrose with three seniors scoring goals.
• NDSU senior Olivia Watson scored her 15th career goal which tied her for seventh on the all-time goals list in the program's Division I history. Fellow NDSU senior Madalyn Grate scored her first career goal to lead the Bison into halftime.
• Oral Roberts enters league play with three straight wins after recording a 4-1 victory at Abilene Christian.
• ORU graduate student Kennedy Langebartels earned her first career brace scoring in the 25th minute and tacking on another tally in the 51st minute.
• Omaha's eight-match unbeaten streak to open the season was halted by a 1-0 loss at Colorado State.
• DU's Alina Santos logged a career-high eight saves for the Pioneers, which was the most saves in a game for a Pioneer goalkeeper since 2021 when Denver faced Loyola Chicago in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
• St. Thomas' Lexi Huber leads all Summit League players with five goals entering league play. She helped the Tommies post a 4-4-1 stretch in non-conference action.
