NDSU’s Draper garners Kwik Star #SummitWBB peak performer award

North Dakota State’s Draper picks up first career weekly accolade

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State senior Abbie Draper averaged a double-double in a pair of games to help the Bison to victories over South Dakota and in-state rival North Dakota earning her the latest Kwik Star Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week award.
 
The forward netted a career-high 29 points against South Dakota to help North Dakota State to a 72-53 road win. Draper knocked down a career-best 12 field goals on 16 attempts while also pulling down 12 rebounds. She added an assist and a block to her stat line against USD.
 
In a 70-66 victory over North Dakota, she contributed 12 points and a game-high nine rebounds. Draper also dished out three assists, blocked two shots and stole the ball once.
