SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota senior Grace Larkins averaged a double-double of 29.5 ppg and 12.5 rpg in the first two games of league play to earn the latest Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week award.
South Dakota opened League play with a 77-71 road victory over Denver behind Larkins’ team-best 29-point performance. The Altoona, Iowa, native also recorded her 20
th career double-double after pulling down a team-high 13 rebounds and dishing out a team-leading seven assists.
In an 82-70 loss at Oral Roberts, Larkins notched her 21
st career double-double and second-straight game of 29 points to go along with 12 rebounds and three assists. Her 29 points against ORU pushed her over the 1,700 career point threshold making her just the fourth Coyote in USD history to eclipse 1,700 points and 700 rebounds in a career.
