SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver and Omaha earned Summit League Kwik Star Swimming and Diving Peak Performer of the Week honors following standout performances during the opening weekend of the season, League officials released Tuesday.
This week’s men’s honors mark the first career awards for both McLellan and Gregory. On the women’s side, Storms earned her first career accolade, while Calvery collected the fifth of her career.
MEN’S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Hamish McLellan, Denver

- Led Denver with 211 team points in a three-team Front Range Invite
- Recorded 40 points in the 400 Medley Relay, 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Free Relay with times of 3:18.99, 1:31.03, and 3:02.30, respectively
- Collected his first career weekly award

- Earned an NCAA Zone Cut in his collegiate debut, earning his NCAA Zone score in the men's 3-meter
- Scored 44 points across three boards in his collegiate debut, including a podium finish in the men's 3-meter dive.
- Collected his first career weekly award

WOMEN’S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

- Won the 100 breast (1:05.17) and 200 breast (2:21.19) against SDSU and won the 200 breast (2:21.19) against Nebraska on Friday
- Saturday, she won the 200 IM (2:09.21) and the 100 breast (1:05.40)
- Collected her first career weekly award

- Placed first in the Platform Dive (199.80), fourth in the 3-Meter Dive (243.00), and eighth in the 1-Meter Dive (224.35)
- Collected her fifth career weekly award
