#SummitMBB Weekly Notebook: No. 2

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The men's college basketball rolls on after an exciting opening week that featured a variety of highs and lows across the board for all nine Summit League teams. St. Thomas had one of those highs as the Tommies christened the Lee & Penny Anderson Arena with a seven-point win over Army. The League's trio of first-year head coaches also secured milestone victorires as Denver's Tim Bergstraser saw his squad rally for a 75-73 road win at Montana State, Oral Roberst' Kory Barnett witnessed his team steamroll John Brown 84-50 and South Dakota State's Bryan Petersen did not have to wait long at all as the Jackrabbits defeated Merrimack 75-66 in the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon at the Sanford Pentagon.
