For the third time, two league teams will make an appearance in the NCAA Volleyball Tournament

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –For the third time in Summit League history, two teams will represent the league in the NCAA Tournament as announced Sunday evening by the selection committee. The St. Thomas Tommies will open their NCAA Tournament with No. 5 Iowa State, while the No 7. South Dakota State Jackrabbits earned the program's second-ever at-large bid for the second season in a row and will open the tournament with Arizona.
 
The 2025 Summit League champion St. Thomas (21-9) will see Iowa State (22-7) Friday, Dec. 5 in Minneapolis, Minn., at 4:30 p.m. CT. The Tommies are in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the school's Division I history after defeating South Dakota State in four-sets in the Summit League championship match. This is the Tommies first year of eligibility after transitioning from Division III. Iowa State finished third in the BIG XII  and enters the tournament as the No. 5 seed in the 64-team tournament.
 
No. 7 South Dakota State (23-4) earned an at large bid to the NCAA Tournament for the second season in a row after a great season that saw the Jackrabbits go 16-0 in conference play. The Jackrabbits will face Arizona (16-12) in Stanford, Calif., at 6:30 p.m. CT on Friday, Dec. 5.
