Coyotes’ Larkins garners back-to-back Kwik Star #SummitWBB peak performer awards

South Dakota’s Larkins captures seventh peak performer accolade of her career

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota senior Grace Larkins made Summit League history becoming the league’s single-game scoring record holder with a 47-point performance to highlight her week. With her historic performance to go along with 30.0 ppg and 9.5 rpg in a pair of games, Larkins garnered her second consecutive Kwik Star Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor.
 
Against North Dakota State, Larkins became the South Dakota and Summit League’s single-game scoring record holder after pouring in a career-high 47 points on 17-for-21 shooting and 11-for-12 from the free throw line. She also added eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block to her stat line against the Bison.
 
Her 47-point performance is the second-most points scored in a single game by a Division I women’s basketball player. She is also the only player in DI with two 40-point games this season.
 
In the game against Oral Roberts, Larkins notched her 12th double-double of the season and 26th of her career. She finished with 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting from the field to go along with 11 rebounds. Larkins also dished out four assists and stole the ball once against the Golden Eagles.
