SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota senior Dre Bullock secured the first Kwik Star Summit League Men’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week honor of his career, League officials announced Monday. Bullock scored a career-high 31 points to lead the Coyotes to a win over previously unbeaten Omaha.
In just his second start as a Coyote, the Niagara transfer delivered 18 first-half points and 13 during a second half that saw South Dakota erase a 15-point deficit. The Franklinton, N.C., native finished the 6-for-10 from 3-point range and hit all three of his attempts in the second half.
Bullock squared things up at 73-73 with his second triple after the break, then extended a one-point Coyotes’ lead to four at the 42-second mark to put the game out of reach.
