DU stays on top, ORU vaults into second at #SummitWGF Championship

MESA, Ariz. -- Defending champion Denver maintained its lead after day two of the 2025 Summit League Women's Golf Championship but it was one-shot less after Oral Roberts shrunk that advantage after posting a team score of 288 (+4) to move into second place.

The Golden Eagles were led by the duo of Anna Swan and Avery Blake, who both carded a 69 (-2), which is the low round of the tournament by anyone in the 40-player field through 36 holes.

Swan, who led the field with six birdies in the opening round, backed that up with five more in round two, allowing her take over the individual lead by a stroke at 141 (-1) over the Denver tandem of Clara Gestsdottir and Emma Bryant. Those two Pioneers each shot a 72 (+1) on their second loop at the Longbow Golf Club and each have 36-hole totals of 142 (E).
