The Roos and Golden Eagles collect peak performer weekly awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Kansas City midfielder Delfina Zolesio Fernandez Blanco and Oral Roberts defender Alani Chaple were deemed the Kwik Star Summit League Women’s Soccer Peak Performers of the Week following the third week of the 2025 season. Zolesio claimed the offensive honor, while Chaple secured the defensive accolade, league officials announced Tuesday.

Zolesio displayed her offensive dominance in both matches for the Roos, recording three goals and one assist in Kansas City’s split week. The Buenos Aires, Argentina, native came out of the gates firing on Thursday against Lindenwood, knocking in two goals to collect a brace in the 3-2 victory. The Roos’ midfielder followed her two-goal outing with another score and an assist in KC’s 3-2 loss at Tulsa. Zolesio’s three-goal week pushed her into the Summit League’s lead for goals scored (6) on the season.

Chaple led the Golden Eagles backline to back-to-back shutout wins over Abilene Christian and Louisiana Tech. The Riverside, Calif., native steered ORU to a 2-0 victory against the Wildcats and 3-0 win over the Bulldogs, logging 165 combined minutes in the winning efforts.
