SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State guard Treyson Anderson secured the latest Kwik Star Summit League Men’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week accolade, garnering the first of his career and second by a Bison this season, league officials announced Tuesday.
Anderson helped the Bison to a pair of road wins in Summit play, vaulting NDSU to the program’s first 4-0 start in conference play since the 2020-21 season. He put together the first 20-point games of his career in the back-to-back victories, scoring a career-high 23 in the win at Kansas City and adding 22 in the comeback-victory at Omaha.
The Lincoln, Neb., native scored 14 second-half points in the return to his home state, including a layup with just over a minute remaining that gave NDSU its first lead since the opening two minutes of the contest. He scored NDSU’s first eight points out of the break after they went into halftime trailing by 12.
Anderson finished 15-for-25 from the field and had multiple blocks in both wins. He also added eight rebounds against the Roos and three more to go along with three assists vs. the Mavericks.
