SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha forward Maguire Perkins and goalkeeper Kamy Ndione earned the eighth Summit League Men’s Soccer Peak Performer of the Week honors of the season, the league announced Tuesday. Perkins claimed the offensive honor while Ndione earned the defensive nod.
Perkins scored the game-winning goal in Omaha’s 3-0 victory over UMass. The goal was his fourth of the season, good for third on the team. The honor is the first of his career.
Ndione was stellar between the posts for the Mavericks, helping power them to victory. The senior tallied six saves to record his sixth clean sheet of the season. That number is tied for the most in the Summit League.
