SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – As the 2025-26 academic year winds down, Summit League officials unveiled the league-only schedules for the 2026 women’s soccer, men’s soccer, and volleyball seasons.
2026 WOMEN’S SOCCER
The women’s soccer schedule will feature eight matches each Thursday and Sunday across a six-week stretch beginning in late September. League play opens Thursday, Sept. 24, with reigning regular season champion Oral Roberts traveling to Kansas City to begin its title defense. North Dakota State travels up Interstate 29 on opening night to face in-state foe North Dakota, while South Dakota State heads south down I-29 to face its in-state rival South Dakota. St. Thomas travels to Omaha to wrap up the four-match opening night slate.
The Summit League Women’s Soccer Championship will again feature a six-team field and a two-weekend structure. Quarterfinal contests are slated for Nov. 6-7, with the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds hosting first-round matches, before the No. 1 seed hosts the semifinals and championship match during Nov. 11-15. Exact dates remain to be determined.

2026 MEN’S SOCCER
The six men’s soccer programs will compete in a single round-robin format beginning Saturday, Sept. 26. The schedule features two matches each Saturday over a six-week stretch before the regular season concludes Oct. 31. Kansas City, which shared last season’s regular season title, opens at home against Oral Roberts, while Delaware travels to Omaha during the opening weekend of play.
The 2026 Summit League Men’s Soccer Championship’s exact format, dates, and locations are still TBD.

2026 SUMMIT LEAGUE VOLLEYBALL
The volleyball schedule will span eight weeks and feature a double round-robin format among all eight league members with matches contested Thursdays and Saturdays beginning Sept. 24. The opening night of conference play features two matches with North Dakota traveling to Omaha and St. Thomas facing NDSU. Back-to-back defending regular season champion South Dakota State opens league play on the road against in-state rival South Dakota on Saturday, Sept. 26, while Oral Roberts will open the campaign at Kansas City.
The regular season concludes Nov. 14, with the championship returning to SDSU’s campus for the second consecutive season. The Jackrabbits, who captured the program’s second regular season title in 2025, will host the event with dates still to be determined.
