SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After scoring two goals and helping Oral Roberts to a 2-0 week, Brianna Castleberry garnered the Summit League Women’s Soccer Offensive Peak Performer of the Week, the League Office announced on Tuesday. Following a week where Omaha allowed zero goals, defender Grace Bartlam earned the Defensive Peak Performer of the Week.
Castleberry scored the lone goal for the Golden Eagles in their 1-0 win over UC Riverside last Wednesday. She also scored a goal in the 4-0 win over Friends on Sunday, helping ORU to its first 4-0 start in program history. Castleberry’s four goals on the season currently leads the League.
Grace Bartlam anchored the defense for the Maverick’s 1-0 win over Northern Iowa and the scoreless draw against Green Bay last week. In 180 minutes of playing time for Bartlam in the two games, Omaha allowed just two shots on goal.
