SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Summit League women’s volleyball programs combined for 10 wins during the third week of the 2026 season. Omaha led the way with a 3-1 weekend, while South Dakota and North Dakota each posted 2-1 marks. Kansas City, North Dakota State and St. Thomas also earned victories.
All eight Summit League volleyball teams return to action this week, competing across seven states during the final weekend of nonconference play. Kansas City and Omaha are scheduled to host home matches.
Two Summit League programs will face nationally ranked opponents this weekend. South Dakota opens the South Dakota Lottery College Volleyball Classic on Friday in Sioux Falls against No. 14 Minnesota before facing Washington on Saturday. South Dakota State also meets Washington on Friday before taking on No. 14 Minnesota on Saturday.
North Dakota State travels to Spokane, Washington, for three matches. The Bison face Montana on Thursday before taking on Gonzaga on Friday and Seattle on Saturday.
Kansas City hosts the Battle of Missouri, welcoming Missouri State on Thursday, St. Louis on Friday and SEMO on Saturday.
Omaha remains home for one final nonconference match, hosting Kansas State on Saturday. North Dakota travels to Texas for matches against Lamar and Sam Houston on Friday before facing UL Monroe on Saturday.
Oral Roberts heads to Louisiana for its final two nonconference matches against Grambling State and McNeese. St. Thomas also has two matches remaining, facing Western Michigan and Marquette in Milwaukee.

• Six Summit League teams recorded at least one victory during the third weekend of action, with league teams combining for a 10-11 record across 21 matches and a 38-29 mark overall.
• The Summit League moved up one spot to No. 11 in the Massey Ratings, placing the conference among the nation’s top 11 leagues through the opening weeks of the season.
• South Dakota and South Dakota State will both welcome Big Ten opponents to Sioux Falls this week, with the Coyotes and Jackrabbits set to face Minnesota and Washington at the Sanford Pentagon. South Dakota remains undefeated at the Pentagon with a 5-0 record.
• Coyote sophomore setter Ella Rogers made her first career starts during the third weekend of play, helping the Coyotes post a 2-1 record. Rogers totaled 97 assists across 10 sets.
• North Dakota State’s Arianna Blohm and Emma Tallman earned spots on the Bobcat Invitational All-Tournament Team. Blohm posted a team-best .378 hitting percentage while recording 21 kills and seven total blocks. Tallman hit .291 and added 20 kills and seven blocks.
• Omaha enters Week 4 on a three-match winning streak, earning victories over Grand Canyon, Drake and UC Riverside.
• Omaha setter Maddie Stuesser leads the league with 354 assists, while teammate Dara Obeid ranks second with 34 total blocks.
• The Mavericks placed Madi Corf and Kate Schroetlin on the Lumberjack Classic All-Tournament Team. Corf recorded 32 kills and 27 digs across 12 sets, while Schroetlin added 50 digs during the tournament.
• Kansas City’s Stella Smith leads the Summit League with 41 total blocks, while teammate Chloe Kaminski leads the league in total digs (170) and digs per set (4.72) during nonconference play.
• Oral Roberts’ Cortnee Smith ranks among the nation’s statistical leaders through three weeks, ranking 10th in total attacks (405), 13th in total kills (146) and 25th in total points (156.0).
• ORU’s setter Ana Appel also ranks among the national leaders, sitting 12th in service aces and 38th in total assists with 318 through the first three weeks of the season.
• North Dakota’s Lilliana Montes recorded 14 blocks against Sacred Heart, tying her for sixth all time in Summit League history.
• South Dakota State’s Brooke Larson became one of 13 NCAA Division I players to record a triple-double this season. Larson finished with 11 kills, 23 assists and 11 digs against (RV) Tulsa.
• St. Thomas recorded a 3-0 sweep of Miami (Fla.) during the third weekend of action. The victory marked the eighth all-time win by a Summit League team against an ACC opponent and the league’s first such win since Omaha defeated Clemson, 3-0, in 2019.
