SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Delaware forward Frederik Flaskager and Kansas City defender Mark Ramarola earned the sixth Summit League Men’s Soccer Peak Performer of the Week honors of the season, the league announced Tuesday. Flaskager claimed the offensive honor while Ramarola earned the defensive nod.
Flaskager recorded four goals for eight points in Delaware's 1-0-1 week. In UD's 6-1 win over George Washington, he scored The Summit League's first hat trick of the season. He then found the back of the net for his fourth goal of the week in the Hens' league opening 3-3 tie at Omaha.
Ramarola scored a brace in the only match of the week for the Roos to open conference play in a 3-1 win over Oral Roberts. He opened the scoring in the 20th minute from a cross that he headed home to go up 1-0. He would score again with a screamer from outside the box that found the top right corner. It was his third and fourth goals of the season.
