SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After tallying a goal and an assist in each match on the week for North Dakota State, Morgan Russmann earned the Summit League Women’s Soccer Offensive Peak Performer of the Week, the League office announced on Tuesday. Helping keep Oral Roberts’ unbeaten start of the season alive, defender Precious Edosa earned Defensive Peak Performer of the Week.
In an unbeaten road trip out to California, North Dakota State earned a 2-0 win over Westmont and a 3-3 draw against UC Santa Barbara. Russmann scored a goal and recorded an assist in both matches. Russmann had the primary assist on NDSU’s first goal at Westmont before scoring just a few minutes later to seal the 2-0 victory. In Sunday’s 3-3 draw to UC Santa Barbara, Russmann scored the second goal to tie the Gauchos 2-2 after NDSU went down 2-0. This is Russmann and North Dakota State’s first weekly honor of the season and Russmann’s third career honor after earning two in 2024.
Oral Roberts defender Precious Edosa anchored the Golden Eagles’ defense that allowed just five shots in the 5-0 win over Little Rock. None of Little Rock’s shots were on goal as well, resulting in the fourth clean sheet for ORU on the season. This is Edosa’s first weekly accolade of the season and Oral Roberts’ third overall. Edosa also earned Defensive Peak Performer of the Week once in 2025.
