The Summit League Student-Athlete Advocacy Committee (SAAC) consists of one male and one female student-athlete from each of the conference's member institutions. The conference SAAC meets via teleconference at least twice per academic year to discuss NCAA and conference issues that involve student-athlete welfare. The SAAC also holds a meeting in-person each summer.
It shall be the responsibility of each member institution to ensure that all of its students, as well as those individuals employed by or directly associated with the institution, conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner when representing their university, especially at intercollegiate athletic contests.
The Summit League SAAC Cup, a traveling trophy, will be awarded annually at the In-Person SAAC Summit. Institutions will receive points throughout the year based on the criteria within five categories listed below - Meeting Engagement, Campus Engagement, Summit League SAAC Initiatives, Community Service, Academic Success.
