FARGO, N.D. (gobison.com) -- Three Bison scored in double figures to help the North Dakota State University women's basketball team (7-8, 3-0 Summit League) beat the IUPUI Jaguars (6-9, 1-1 Summit League) 68-63 on Thursday night, Jan. 8, inside the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse. With the win, NDSU improves to 3-0 in Summit League play for the first time since the 2009-10 season.

Senior guard Brooke LeMar paced all scorers in the game, scoring 17 points on 4-for-13 shooting, and dished out a season-high nine assists to go along with a 7-for-7 performance at the free-throw line. Junior forward Holly Johnson posted 16 points on 7-for-13 shooting, including a 2-for-4 clip from three-point range, and fellow junior forward Marena Whittle scored 14 points and recorded a career-high six steals. Johnson, Whittle and sophomore forward Emily Spier each snagged six rebounds to lead the Bison on the glass.

TULSA, Okla. (oruathletics.com) -- The Oral Roberts University women's basketball team turned up the defensive pressure Thursday night as the Golden Eagles defeated South Dakota, 81-65, in Summit League action.

Vicky McIntyre and Faith Ihim recorded double-doubles with McIntyre leading the way with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Ihim added 18 points and 10 rebounds for her first career double-double in the win.

ORU was impressive defensively forcing a season-high 21 turnovers and recording seven steals. The Golden Eagles scored 21 points off turnovers while USD managed just 11.

DENVER (denverpioneers.com) -- The University of Denver women's basketball team dropped the University of Nebraska Omaha on Thursday night at Magness Arena. Denver (5-12, 2-1) defeated Omaha (5-10, 0-3), 60-53.

After being tied at halftime Denver went on a 12-2 run during the first five minutes of the second half giving the Pioneers a 10-point lead. Junior guard Paige Bradley tied season highs with 19 points and seven rebounds to lead Denver. The Pioneers rained in another seven 3-pointers. DU has netted 43 in the last four home games and 119 3-pointers on the season.
