FORT WAYNE, Ind. (gojacks.com) -- South Dakota State freshman Macy Miller scored the game-winning free throw with 0.1 left as the Jackrabbits defeated Fort Wayne, 65-64, in Summit League women's basketball action Saturday in front of 831 fans in Gates Sports Center.

With the victory, SDSU improves to 11-5 overall and 2-1 in Summit League play. IPFW falls to 6-10 overall and 0-3 in league play.

Senior Mariah Clarin registered a game-high 16 points and 8 rebounds. The forward also collected two assists, and tied career highs with four blocks and three steals. Senior Megan Waytashek finished with 14 points and Miller with 10 and 4 assists.

MACOMB, Ill. (goyotes.com) -- Senior guard Raeshel Contreras scored 24 points and led five more Coyotes to double-digit point totals as South Dakota head women's basketball coach Amy Williams recorded her 50th win with the program on Saturday during USD's 101-87 win over Western Illinois in Western Hall.

Nicole Seekamp, Margaret McCloud and Kelly Stewart all recorded 16 points for the Coyotes (12-4, 2-1), while Tia Hemiller added 11 points and Bridget Arens finished with 10 points. Seekamp recorded her first double-double of the season by adding 10 assists to her scoring total, while Arens was one rebound shy of a double-double with nine rebounds.
