Aubrie Laufenberg was named Director of Digital Content and Strategy for The Summit League in August 2025, after steadily advancing through a variety of communications roles since joining the League office in 2018. She was promoted to Associate Director of Communications in September 2019, expanded her role to include graphic design in 2022, and later elevated to Director of Communcations and Digital Strategies in 2024 before transitioning into her current position.
Before joining The Summit League, Laufenberg served as a sports information graduate assistant at the University of South Dakota. While working for the Coyotes, Laufenberg performed the communication duties for the volleyball, swimming and diving and tennis programs. Prior to her year stint in Vermillion, S.D., Laufenberg was a sports information director's assistant at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., where she assisted in all aspects of sports information and was a sports writer for the college's on campus newspaper The Concordian.
Laufenberg holds a Master's Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Management from the University of South Dakota as well as Bachelor's Degrees in Communications and Multimedia Journalism from Concordia College.
