Cody Cranor joined the Summit League in 2019 as the Associate Commissioner - Governance & Compliance. Before his time with the League, Cranor spent four-plus years on the University of Denver campus where he started as the assistant director of compliance in January of 2015 before quickly being promoted just a month later to the role of Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student-Athlete Support Services.

Prior to his time at DU, Cranor spent 18 months as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at Southern New Hampshire University, which followed a two-year internship at Brigham Young University where he completed his law degree in April of 2013.

He earned a bachelor's degree (2008; Physical Education-Sport Management) and master's degree (2010; Athletic Administration) from Idaho State University. During his time in Pocatello, Cranor worked with the men's basketball program as a manager, student assistant coach and assistant video coordinator. He served as a graduate teaching assistant during his postgraduate time on campus in ISU's Department of Sport Science and Physical Education.
