Tyler Sjuts was named Assistant Director for Strategic Communications for The Summit League in August 2025. He serves as the primary media contact for women's soccer, swimming & diving, golf, and softball.
Prior to joining The Summit League, Sjuts was an Athletic Communications Intern with Creighton University, where he was assisted in daily athletic communications tasks and gained hands-on experience while supporting the execution of game-day events including men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's golf. Sjuts also brings experience as a Sports Information Intern with the Wayne State College Athletic Department for two years.
In addition to his athletic department roles, Sjuts has also been a student-volunteer with the operations and marketing team at The Summit League Men's and Women's Basketball Championships from 2022-2024 as well as volunteered with the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the AVCA Annual Convention in 2022 and 2023.
A native of Humphrey, Neb., Sjuts earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration - Finance from Wayne State College.
