SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – It is a fight at the top of the standings as league play continues. Omaha and Denver continue to occupy the top two spots with each still only having suffered one loss in league play so far this season.
The five teams that make up the top half of the standings will all come face-to-face this week en route to some potential separation in the standings.

Around The League
- Omaha moved to 10-1 in the league after hitting the road and defeating Western Illinois (3-0) and St. Thomas (3-0).
- Sadie Limback paced the offensive effort totaling 21 kills (3.5 kills per set) and hitting a .468 clip between the two matches. Highlighting her efforts on the week was her 13 kill, .650 clip performance at Western Illinois.
- Defensively, Jaiden Centeno led the pack digging up 24 digs on the week. Against WIU she notched 11 and followed up with 13 digs at UST.
- Denver picked up two road victories over St. Thomas (3-0) and Western Illinois (3-1) to move to 9-1 in league play.
- Hailey Green guided the offense totaling 19 kills in the two matches. Against St. Thomas, she finished with five kills and hit .300. She followed up that performance with a career-high 14 kills and a .375 clip against Western Illinois.
- Gianna Bartalo posted back-to-back 20-plus digs for the first time in her career for the Pioneers. In the victory over St. Thomas, she notched 22 digs while also recording another 20 against Western Illinois.
- Aixa Vigil dominated the week leading Oral Roberts to two home wins extending their winning streak to four and remaining undefeated at home this season. The senior hit above .400 in each match and posted two double-doubles averaging 4.14 kills and 3.00 digs per set.
- She put away 15 kills and a .462 hitting percentage in a win over NDSU and followed with a 14-kill effort in the three-set sweep of UND.
- Sakira Lacour was a force at the net adding nine blocks in seven sets for ORU. The junior blocked six balls against North Dakota State and three against North Dakota.
- South Dakota defeated in-state rival South Dakota State 3-1 in Brookings to move it 8-2 in league play. Madison Harms posted a season-high .688 hitting percentage in the four-set victory. She finished with 11 kills on 16 attempts with zero errors while also providing five total blocks in the win.
- Kansas City went 2-0 on the week sweeping North Dakota and North Dakota State. De’Janae Arnold threw down 18 kills for 3.0 kills per set and a .423 hitting percentage on the week. Highlighting her efforts, in the sweep over NDSU, she finished with 12 kills and zero errors for a .462 clip.
- Maddie Renn continues to lead the defensive line for KC as she finished with 20 digs on the week (3.33 digs per set).
- North Dakota, North Dakota State, St. Thomas, South Dakota State and Western Illinois all went winless this week.
- North Dakota State took a set from Oral Roberts after being led by Ali Hinze. Hinze logged her fourth straight double-double with 14 kills and 10 digs. Syra Tanchin also reached double figures in kills with 14 while Taylor Quan contributed a team-best 13 digs.
- Western Illinois took the opening set against Denver before falling 3-1. In the loss, Brittany Wulf notched a single-match personal-best in kills (21) while Maggie Craker and Karli Wenzel each contributed 17 digs apiece.
- South Dakota State took a set from South Dakota led by Crystal Burk’s 10th double-double of the season. She finished with 17 kills and 12 digs.
