SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts’ Dante Brigida and Omaha’s Sadie Limback earned the initial TicketSmarter #ReachTheSummit Athlete of the Month honors for the 2021-22 academic year, league officials announced Wednesday. Brigida collected the second monthly honor of his career, while Limback secured her first for their efforts in the latter part of August and full month of September.
 
Brigida tallied a league-best five goals through September, which was three more than the next closest league player. He added game-winning goals in 1-0 victories over Incarnate Word and Bradley to pace the League in that category as well, allowing the Golden Eagles to get off to a 5-1-1 start.

He earned the first TicketSmarter #SummitMSOC Offensive Player of the Week award after scoring in ORU’s first two matches of the season.
 
Limback was twice named the TicketSmarter #SummitVB Offensive Player of the Week after racking up 156 kills and a registering a .367 hitting percentage through September. She reached double-digit kills in nine of 10 matches for the Mavericks and had a pair of 22-kill performances against Arizona State and SMU.
 
Limback ranked second in the League with 3.78 kills per set through September and also added 30 blocks on the defensive side.
