SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State earned both the TicketSmarter Summit League Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week awards, while St. Thomas and Omaha student-athletes collected the Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively, league officials announced on Tuesday.
The Jackrabbit duo of Alex Kraft and Spencer Fritze received the TicketSmarter Summit League Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week accolades after multiple first-place performances in a road dual meet against Omaha. Kraft claimed both the 200 and 500 free events, while Fritze claimed the 1-meter title.
On the women's side, St. Thomas hosted Minnesota State and St. Cloud State in the two-day JoAnn Andregg Invite where the Tommie women won eight events, including three individual and relay wins from freshman Elizabeth Bonneville who earned the Women's Swimmer of the Week. Omaha junior women's diver Reece Cooper collected the Diver of the Week honor after a first-place showing in the 1-meter dive against South Dakota State.
Men's Swimmer of the Week

• Led the Jackrabbits in the middle-distance free events in a dual meet at Omaha
• Won the 200 free (1:43.96), 500 free (4:50.28) in season-best times and swam on the winning 400 free relay (3:06.79) team and also on the third-place 200 medley relay (1:36.62) team
• This is the second career swimmer of the week award for Kraft

• Recorded a victory in the 500 free (5:13.63) and was a part of the winning 200 free relay (1:38.46) and 800 free relay (7:49.72) in the first day of competition
• Added wins in the 100 free (52.30), 200 free (1:54.21) and 400 free relay (3:34.44) in the second day of action
• This is the first career swimmer of the week honor for Bonneville
