SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha and St. Thomas earned Summit League Swimming and Diving Peak Performer of the Week honors following standout performances during the opening weekend of the season, League officials released Tuesday.
The men’s honors mark the first career award for Mason Zadina and Owen Kipp’s sixth of his career. On the women’s side, Addisyn Storms earned her second career accolade, while Maya Kelly also collected the second of her career.
MEN’S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Mason Zadina, Omaha
So. | Fly/Free | Omaha, Neb.
- Went a perfect four-for-four in first-place-finishes in a dual against Rockhurst.
- He was a key contributor to the winning 200 medley relay, swimming the butterfly leg with an impressive 21.44 split and then followed that with an individual victory in the 50 butterfly, posting a 21.59.
- Zadina also finished first in the 50 freestyle with a personal-best time of 20.06, nearly breaking the 20-second barrier and coming within striking distance of the school record. He also closed out the weekend with a first-place finish in the 100 butterfly with a time of 49.16.

MEN’S PEAK DIVER OF THE WEEK
Owen Kipp, Omaha
Jr. | Dive | Eagan, Minn.
- Swept the springboard events with personal-best scores on both boards.
- Scored a 361.50 on the 1M for a new school record.
- Also recorded a 375.75 on the 3M to win the event.

WOMEN’S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Addisyn Storms, Omaha

- Storms opened the season with three winning ind events and contributed on a runner-up finishing 200 medley relay.
- She won the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.02, just 0.50 seconds off her school record.
- She also won the 50 breaststroke in 29.64 and the 100 IM in 58.74 for a perfect three-for-three in her individual events.

WOMEN’S PEAK DIVER OF THE WEEK
Maya Kelly, St. Thomas
So. | Dive | Lake Elmo, Minn.
- Led St. Thomas to wins over Green Bay and Gustavus to open the season.
- Won the 3-meter with a score of 293.95.
- Finished second to teammate Hattie Opdahl in the 1-meter with a score of 260.70.
