SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Week seven is wrapped up, and this week’s Summit League weekly award winners come from a trio of programs.
South Dakota swept the men awards with junior Jacob Won claiming the swimmer of the week and junior Hudson Wilkerson being named the diver of the week. On the women’s side, South Dakota State’s Elisabeth Timmer earned her second swimmer of the week accolade of the season and Darby Drake of Omaha captured her third diver of the week honor of the season.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Elisabeth Timmer, South Dakota State
So. | Savaneta, Aruba
• Posted seven first-place performances in a dual against South Dakota and Omaha
• Against USD, Timmer won the 50 Free (26.79), 100 Free (59.16) and anchored the 400 Free Relay with a 58.92 split
• Against the Mavericks, Timmer captured the 200 Free (1:56.17), 50 Free (24.70), 100 Free (52.88) and anchored the 200 Free Relay with a 24.22 split
• Earned her second swimmer of the week award this season

Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Jacob Won, South Dakota
Jr. | Katy, Texas
• Took part in a trio of victories in a dual with South Dakota State
• Won the 200 Free (1:57.70), 400 Free (4:14.48) and swam the third leg (split 53.63) in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:33.28
• Third swimmer of the week award of the season
Also nominated: Cayden Christianson (South Dakota State), Miguel Turcios (Eastern Illinois)
Women’s Diver of the Week
Darby Drake, Omaha
Fr. | Traverse City, Mich.
• Picked up two first place performances against South Dakota State
• Posted a 235.72 in the 3-meter dive and a 248.48 in the 1-meter dive
• This is the third Summit League weekly honor for Drake

Men’s Diver of the Week
Hudson Wilkerson, South Dakota
Jr. | Powell, Wyo.
• Recorded a victory and finished second during a dual with South Dakota State
• Placed first in the 1-meter event (266.48) and finished second in the 3-meter dive with a season-best score of 281.25
• This is the fifth career weekly award for Wilkerson
