SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha forward Hugo Kametani and Oral Roberts goalkeeper Miles Motakef were named Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, league officials announced Monday.

Kametani and the Mavericks defeated cross-town rival Creighton for the first time in program history, 3-0, and Kametani scored back-to-back goals in the first half of the match. Kametani’s first goal came in the 8^th minute, two minutes after Omaha’s first goal on the contest. The Kashima, Japan native recorded his second goal in the 22^nd minute after a deflection from Creighton’s goalkeeper off the rebound. In all, Kametani notched three shots with two on goal.
 
Motakef earned his fifth win of the season behind the net as he played all 90 minutes of the 2-0 contest against Kansas City. The Georgetown, Texas native faced nine shots and totaled four saves.
