SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the third straight week, South Dakota State senior Teresa Toscano was named the #SummitGF Female Golfer of the Week, while South Dakota senior Matt Tolan earned the weekly male honor, league officials announced Wednesday.

Toscano won the seventh collegiate tournament of her career and third in a row. The Huelva, Spain native has not finished outside of the top two in four events this spring as her latest triumph came at the Bama Beach Bash.

Toscano posted a four-stroke victory in the 90-player field, posting a 213 (-3) during the 54-hole event in played at the Gulf Shores Golf Club in Gulf Shores, Ala. She led the field with 13 birdies, making at least four in each of her rounds, which were highlighted by a second-round 69 (-3).

Toscano is now owns sole possession of second play with 13 combined career weekly and monthly accolades.

Tolan captured the first weekly honor of his career after posting an eighth-place finish at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate hosted by Missouri State. He was the top Summit League golfer in the 108-player field that featured four league teams.

The Eau Claire, Wis., native opened the 54-hole event with back-to-back rounds of 69. He made 10 birdies during the event, added an eagle and opened with a bogey-free 18 holes.
