SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Omaha midfielder Theo Klein and St. Thomas goalkeeper Tucker Mann earned the latest TicketSmarter Summit League Men's Soccer Peak Performer of the Week awards. Klein equaled the Summit League single-match high with five points to earn the offensive accolade, while Mann collected his second defensive nod of the season, league officials announced.
After falling behind 1-0 at Southern Indiana, Klein evened things up in the 39
th minute, then just under three minutes into the second half, provide the game-winning goal as Omaha rallied for a 4-1 victory.
The Strasbourg, France native assisted on Omaha's fourth goal of the match to finish with a career-high five points as he matched teammate Kenji Mboma Dem for the most points in match this season by a Summit League player.
Mann dazzled between the pipes for the Tommies, registering a season-high 12 saves as St. Thomas and (10/16) Denver played to a scoreless draw.
The Plymouth, Minn., native recorded his second straight shutout in league play, making eight of his dozen saves in the second half. Those 12 saves are tied for the most by a Summit League player this season and tied for the third most nationally at the Division I level.
