SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League and First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard are renewing their longstanding partnership of the Summit League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships. The three-year agreement will cover the 2023, 2024 and 2025 men's and women's basketball championships.
“The Summit League Tournament has a tremendous impact upon our local economy,” Dana Dykhouse, CEO of First PREMIER Bank said. “Last year’s tournament contributed more than $3 million into our local economy and it continues to grow each year. But the tournament also enhances our community’s quality of life. Where else in our region can you see this caliber of collegiate athletics without having to spend a day driving or flying to another location? It’s simply a great event for our communities, our local businesses, and our student athletes.”
As part of the agreement, First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard will be the official gameday sponsor for Monday's games and will be working with the League office to invite elementary school aged students to the women's championship game set for Tuesday afternoon.
