SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha competed in a home meet last week and not only picked up wins against Midland and Nebraska Wesleyan, but Amir Haviv and Kadence Jeffries collected the TicketSmarter Summit League Men’s and Women’s Peak Swimmer of the Week honors, respectively, League officials announced on Tuesday.
 
Haviv and the 200 Free Relay team that consisted of Owen Hoak, Brandon Cheong and Michael Johnson won with a time of 1:25.74. Haviv would go on to record a time of 2:02.33 in the 200 breaststroke, which ranks eighth in the League. He also recorded a time of 23.00 in the 50 butterfly, placing him 12^th in the League rankings this season.
 
Jeffries captured a victory in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:54.63 and won the event by just under two seconds. The Topeka, Kan., native also helped the 200 free relay team finish second with a time of 1:42.01.
