SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Summit League officials announced Thursday that nearly 1,800 student-athletes have received Summit League Academic Honor Roll honors. The list includes students from all ten member institutions and four associate members competing in 17 different sports.

Qualifications

• Student-athletes must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average (GPA), on a 4.0 scale, for the year awarded.
• Student-athletes must have used a season of competition (a year of athletic eligibility) in the sport in which he/she is nominated.

By The Numbers

• A total of 1,783 student-athletes across 17 sports were honored.
• League newcomer St. Thomas had the most total selections to the academic honor roll with 289 while South Dakota State (224) and South Dakota (220) were second and third, respectively.
• The Tommies also paced the league with total number of student-athletes (267) with South Dakota (206) and Omaha (200) rounding out the top three.
