SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League, alongside SIDEARM Sports, has announced the launch of their updated mobile app, which is now available for download in the App Store and Google Play. The app had become a staple for league fans to follow various league championships but will now be a year-round, one-stop shop for all things related to the Summit League.

"As we continue to grow the Summit League brand and work to increase fan engagement across our membership, we wanted to make it simpler for our fans to stay current on what's happening around our league and do so in an efficient way," Summit League Commissioner Josh Fenton said. "Our friends at Sidearm were able to do that with a variety of updates to our app that we're excited to share with our fans." 

With the updated app, fans will have easier access to real-time updates, schedules, scores and standings along with a central location to get push notifications, breaking news, engage with sponsored content and much more. The League is also partnering with FanMaker -- a leader in sports loyalty and engagement - to launch a new rewards campaign that is expected to start in mid-September. Fans will have the opportunity to win various prizes including tickets and memorabilia through the FanMaker experience.
