SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Eastern Illinois swept the initial TicketSmarer Summit League Men’s and Women’s Peak Swimmers of the Week awards. Dismas Dillon earned the men’s swimming honor, while Corinne Staneart received the women’s accolade after their performances in the Butler Double Dual, league officials announced on Tuesday.
 
Dillon helped the Panthers by posting a pair of top-five finishes, including a runner-up showing in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.39. The Sylvania, Ohio ended the meet by helping the 400 Free Relay team to a fifth-place finish with a time of 3:13.76.
 
Staneart won the 200 breaststroke with a personal-best time of 2:25.11 in a field that consisted of swimmers from Butler, IUPUI, Saint Louis and Xavier.
