SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –Oral Roberts forward Luis Flores and Denver goalkeeper Isaac Nehme claimed the latest TicketSmarter Summit League Men’s Soccer Peak Performer of the Week awards. Flores garnered his league-leading fourth offensive honor of the season, while Nehme collected his second defensive honor of the season, league officials announced Monday.

Flores opened the week with his first career hat trick, tallying three goals in ORU’s 4-1 victory over Central Arkansas in non-conference play. With those three goals, Flores now shares the Division I lead with 14 goals and now has five multiple-goal efforts on the season.

In a 1-0 loss to Denver, the Lufkin, Texas native came up empty in the goal-scoring column, but produced six shots with three of those coming on goal in a match that saw the Golden Eagles outshoot the Pioneers 25-4.

Nehme earned the defensive nod thanks to his efforts in that 1-0 victory over Flores and the Golden Eagles. The Colorado Springs native equaled his career-high with seven saves and posted his 10^th shutout of the season, which ranks second among DI goalkeepers this season.

Nehme made five of those saves in the second half as he became the third goalkeeper this season and first in Summit League play to blank the Golden Eagles. DU’s victory sealed the programs eighth regular season title in the last nine seasons.
