SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha and Denver garnered the latest TicketSmarter Summit League Men’s and Women’s Peak Swimmers of the Week awards, league officials announced on Tuesday.
Mason Schroeder of Omaha earned his first career Men’s Peak Swimmer of the Week, while teammate Ian Blackstock received the Men’s Peak Diver of the Week.
It was a Pioneer sweep on the women’s side as Jessica Maeda captured her fourth career Women’s Peak Swimmer of the Week, while Savanna Berry was named the Women’s Peak Diver of the Week for the first time in her career.

Men’s Peak Swimmer of the Week
Mason Schroeder, Omaha
So. | Lincoln, Neb.
- Won the 200 back with a season-best time of 1:53.29 against Augustana
- Placed first in the 100 backstroke with another season-best time of 51.30
- This is the first career peak performer award for Schroeder

Women’s Peak Swimmer of the Week
Jessica Maeda, Denver
Jr. | Tigard, Ore.
- Placed first in two events and took second in a pair of events at Colorado State
- Earned a first-place finish in the 100 breast (1:03.69), which is the fastest 100 breast time in the Summit League this season
- Placed first in the 200 breast (2:18.80), second in the 200 IM (2:05.72) and swam the second leg in the 200 Medley Relay that finished second
- This is the fourth career peak performer award for Maeda

- Took first on the 1-meter board with a score of 267.20 against Augustana
- Placed first in the 3-meter dive with a score of 282.10
- This is the third peak diver of the week honor of his career

- Posted two NCAA Zone Cut scores at Colorado State
- Won the 3-meter dive with a score of 281.25 and finished second in the 1-meter dive scoring a 265.5
- This is her first career peak diver of the week honor
