SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Four different programs took home the TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Swimmers and Divers of the Week, league officials announced on Tuesday.
 
South Dakota State’s Denilson Cyprianos collected the Men’s Peak Swimmer of the Week, while South Dakota’s Taylor Buhr received her second Women’s Peak Swimmer of the Week this season.
 
On the diving side, Lindenwood’s David Molina-Fregenal garnered his second Men’s Peak Diver of the Week this season, while Darby Drake received her eighth career Women’s Peak Diver of the nod.

Men’s Peak Swimmer of the Week
Denilson Cyprianos, South Dakota State
Jr. | Bulawayo, Zimbabwe 

• Won four individual events over three days at the Augustana Invite where he claimed the 500 free title (4:31.63) and swam on the backstroke leg of SDSU’s runner-up 400 Medley Relay (3:17.23) on the opening day
• Won the 200 free (1:39.02), placed third in the 100 back (49.41) and closed day two by winning the 1,650 free (15:51.02) and 200 back (1:46.72)
• This is the first career peak performer award for Cyprianos

Women’s Peak Swimmer of the Week
Taylor Buhr, South Dakota
So. | Bettendorf, Iowa

• Produced six top-two finishes during the three-day Augustana Invite where she won the 100 IM in a league-leading time of 57.03
• Won the 100 breast (1:03.05) and moved to second in the league charts with her preliminary time of 1:02.94
• Won the 200 IM in 2:04.56 while her preliminary time of 2:03.65 leads the league and ranks on the school’s all-time charts
• Finished second in the 200 breast in a school-record time of 2:17.01 and swam on a winning 400 Medley Relay and runner-up 200 Medley Relay
• This is the third career peak performer accolade for Buhr

Men’s Peak Diver of the Week
David Molina-Fregenal, Lindenwood
Jr. | Madrid, Spain

• Finished first in the 1-meter event at the Mizzou Invitational with a fifth-place score of 288.25
• Earned a 3-meter score of 261.10 and took third in the platform event with a score of 280.35
• This is the fifth peak diver of the week award of his career

Women’s Peak Diver of the Week

• Placed second in the 1-meter with a score of 281.00 against Nebraska

• This is the eighth career peak diver of the week honor for Drake
